Death and the Maiden Great acting in a great drama and a little toplessness from a brave actress thrown in. Always nice to get a view of this great star, even though the scenes are a little dimly lit. Very nice!!!

A Map of the World Sigourney has been nominated for an Oscar on three occasions for either Best Actress or Best Supporting Actress. Her last really nude appearance on film was in 1986 in "Half Moon Street". She's shown glimpses in the French comedy "One Woman or Two" (1986) and later in "Death and the Maiden" (1995). I never thought she'd do another nude scene. To appear nude in a move past the age of 50 is daring indeed. To show more in that movie than in any other, is incredible. That makes this a very notable appearance by a very notable star; one that's not likely to be repeated.
