| "Altered States" This is a sci-fi classic from back in 1980 starring William Hurt and Blair Brown. As most Ken Russell films are, this one is a strange one that was probably better known for its special effects (and Blair Brown's one and only nude scene) than anything else. William Hurt plays a scientist experimenting on himself and Blair Brown plays his attractive live interest. It did actually get nominated for two Academy Awards; one for "Best Music" and one for "Best Sound", but won neither. |

| Blair Brown Blair has had a distinguished career as a serious actress and has rarely appeared nude in movies. This movie was by far her best on-screen nudity and, yet is not capped that often. |
